Did you know that I make music? Well, it’s true. Music as in songs and tracks that some consider “musical.” I’ve been a music enjoyer my entire life, and also a music maker for much of that same period of time. I once got in trouble for singing The Beatles’ “HELP!” too loud in a grocery store, which led to my mother having to calmly explain to bystanders that I was fine, I didn’t need help, and perhaps there was something different about my brain that would be described decades later as “neurodivergent.” I was 5 years old.
If you dive into my music on music platforms, you’ll find a range of things — some wacky absurdist songs, some soundtracks and scores that I made for my own movies, and some surprisingly sincere bits out of nowhere. But make no mistake — even the meaningless nonsense is full of meaning, and sometimes the most sensible thing is a giant helping of nonsense. Don’t you agree?
