Importing Timeline Markers in DaVinci Resolve via Keyboard Shortcut

A few days ago I wrote about DaVinci’s ability to import timeline markers via EDL, which is an excellent way to get Frame.io feedback onto the timeline.

Inexplicably, the option disappeared from my menu in Resolve. I don’t know why, and I don’t think I’ve upgraded DaVinci since using this feature last. However, it still exists in the “Keyboard Customization” options, so why not assign a shortcut, since I love to do that! An acceptable workaround.

For now, I’ve opted for Ctrl+F. The “F” stands for “Frame.io” or “Feedback” since that’s largely what I’m using it for. Seems to be working!
